The Big Index of Catholic Saints.

   When researching illuminated manuscripts it is best to have a basic knowledge about "who" is being represented in the illustrations. Early Christian monks often painted particular Saints with designated emblems in both their books and later in the paintings they created for church walls, relics, tapestries and windows. We will include a expanding list here for students to refer to. More information will be linked to each individual Catholic Saint as the staff researches this project on the web. Please be patient with us as we are Protestants and will need to study as we build the index.
